Let’s look into the thought process behind the Posters.

Sishya Fête is the annual carnival of Sishya, bringing together students, parents, teachers and the wider school community through games, food, entertainment and activities.

For the 2026 edition, I was asked to develop the visual identity and event communication based on three themes provided by the client.

Three Themes. Three Visual Interpretations.

Creative Directions

The client provided three themes for the Fête. I explored each theme and translated it into a distinct visual direction for the event.

01 — Madras

A celebration of the city and its character. The idea was to bring the spirit of Madras into the Fête through familiar local experiences traditional games, street vendors, sugarcane sellers, vintage cars and other elements that make the city feel like home.

02 — Multiverse

A carnival where different fictional worlds come together.

Inspired by the experience of theme parks like Universal Studios and Disneyland, this direction imagined the Fête as a world of characters, games and experiences across different fictional universes.

03 — #Sishya

The Fête through the digital world. This direction explored the things we interact with every day Instagram, YouTube, Snapchat, gaming, photography and digital entertainment and turned them into part of the carnival experience.
