A conceptual packaging redesign for Dumont Creamery’s ice cream cakes. The goal was to make the packaging feel as fun and celebratory as the product itself, while creating a visual system that could work across different flavours.
Overview
The Idea
Ice cream cakes are often bought for birthdays, parties and small celebrations.
I wanted the packaging to capture that feeling before the box was even opened.
The design uses playful illustrations inspired by cakes, candles, ice cream and celebration, turning the box into an extension of the occasion.
Visual Direction
A soft pastel colour palette keeps the packaging playful and approachable, while bold typography gives the product a strong presence on the box.
The illustrations are intentionally scattered across the pack, creating a sense of movement and celebration.
