Let’s look Inside The Packaging Idea

Overview

Simple True Foods is a food brand created for the Ireland market, offering simple, convenient food products without compromising on flavour.

The project involved creating the brand identity and packaging across multiple flavours.

Designed for the Ireland market, the brand needed to feel simple, approachable and easy to understand, while still standing out among the food products on the shelf.

Thought

Identity

The name Simple True Foods itself became the starting point for the identity. I wanted the logo to feel as simple and straightforward as the name.

The arrow represents a direct, uncomplicated journey. From simple preparation to good food, there are no unnecessary detours just straightforward food.

The clean, minimal form reflects the brand’s honest and uncomplicated approach to food.

The result is a clean, minimal identity that reflects the brand's straightforward approach to food.

Chutneys

For the chutney range, the brief was to create something quirky and playful.

I wanted to give the product its own personality rather than simply presenting it as another food product.

The idea was to make the chutney itself speak to the consumer, using speech bubbles to communicate product information, preparation and little moments of personality.

Let The

Chutney Speak.

The speech bubbles, bold typography, bright colours and ingredient imagery come together to create a packaging system that feels playful, conversational and unexpected.

Keep It Simple. Make It Bold.

The final soup range uses bold typography and colour to make each flavour the hero, creating a simple but highly visible system across the different variants.

Soups

For the soup range, the client wanted a bold and straightforward approach. Instead of adding too many visual elements, I focused on making the product and flavour immediately clear.

Large typography, strong colour blocks and prominent food imagery create a direct visual hierarchy that makes the packs easy to recognise.
